Students divide themselves into small groups and work together in order to accomplish an overarching goal, whether that be to solve a local business problem or launch a business of their own. Throughout our time together students are introduced to local entrepreneurs and business managers who provide background about themselves and give helpful advice on how to move forward in their group's endeavors. This also gives students the opportunity to learn about an industry, spark interest in a career, and give them a real-world setting to practice the new skills they learned in the Building Blocks workshops.
